My 1st 25mm Napoleonic Painted!

Yes, you heard it, I painted a 25mm Napoleonic figure.  Don't get used it it!

A mate gave me one to see what I could do with it.  Bottom line is ... I can't do anything with it.  ha ha

Oh well it was a good little project.  Took the same time as it takes to paint a regiment of 3 battalions of 6mm.

LOL! Can't see you getting into 25's any time soon then!

Nice clean work though - he looks good...

Thanks mate. No this was just a one off project to humour myself and a 25mm gaming group I belong to. Fantastic figures but you really have be enthused about painting and have the skill to back that up. I don't. I paint to get figures on the table as fast as I can. Heck thats why I paint figures AFTER they are based so I only paint the surfaces visible. See the French Legere Regiment I finished today also.

actually painting 25mm figures is a little like eating lays potato chips - you never can just eat one
frankly i had enough problems with 15mm much less 6mm.

Once you have painted a 25mm you are either hooked by the dark side or the enlightened side of the force LOL

either way it was a good paint job if I focus I can do 50 in ten hours and the dip method helps bring out detail on the figure
