Yes, I was saddened to hear you abandoned paper. I thought your original work looked great.
I too am questioning paper, but only in the 6mm scale (a little too fiddly to deal with). Of course, without having a huge game table available to me, it is hard to get that mass effect in larger scales. But at least economically, paper allows that mass cheaply.
I'm not fully out on the paper. I had someone really suggest the paper with green background. I will be trying that now as my latest creation - a french infantry division cost a fortune.
