Well I finally went and did it. I jumped into Borders on Sunday and although I said I would never purchase from them again, I say a book I wanted reduced to 24.99. Considering the site I was going to buy it from was 23.00, I decided to support the local and get it. I also purchased a counterinsurgency book as well.
Task Force Black
The U.S. Army/Marine Corps Counterinsurgency Field Manual
I can't wait to get into the manual and start applying the principles to my Ambush Alley games. Especially when I get to developing a Campaign System for it.

The Counterinsurgency Field Manual would be FM 3-24.
If you want an electronic copy, it's available at : http://www.fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm3-24.pdf
Doesn't have the same introduction though, and lacks some of the usefulness of the "dead tree" version.
I'd love to know if there are any further differences.
Yes I saw that just after I purchased the manual. I will take a look through it and compare and advise.
Also, are you going to the Brisbane Muster in a couple of weeks as Matt from Wartime is putting on an AA demo and I am assisting.
Sounds good; I'll have to see if I can get along!
What day are you demoing on?
Or will you be there for both days?
I will get more details and publish on here. Otherwise PM Matt at Ambush Alley or The Guild forums.
